New player here immensely enjoying the game so far. Just wanting clarification on some confusion.
I'm aware the game is deep in development, but I've come across a few examples in the Project Gorgon Wiki where screenshots used don't reflect the look of the real game. Has there been some sort of graphics downgrade at some point? Note the floor and armor texturing.

first: u ingame photo is done at night (in-game night)
Wiki photo is from game day time (morning i suppose)
second: most of wiki photo are done on ultra graphic settings

To expand on what Vish said, I took the screenshot of Sir Coth that was on the wiki (until three minutes before this post).
When I take screenshots of NPCs, I generally am doing a few different things.
- I wait for early morning, between 8 and 10 a.m. in Serbule.
- I click on the NPC, which makes their textures slightly brighter. Then I turn off the UI using a command not set by default, but you can set it in key bindings.
- I take the screenshot using the special setting SuperScreenshotRes=6. This produces an image 11520 x 6108 px. I crop the image and save it as a lower quality jpg for the wiki.
I guess I never took a new one after the unity update (sometime around 2015) that changed the appearance of most NPCs. Here's the new one for Coth.

Wow, the armor in your screenshot looks a lot better than in my screenshot. Even with ultra settings I don't get anything like that.
I do understand super resolution and time of day would make a difference, but there's clearly differences in texture quality.

I'll try and fiddle around with my settings and see what happens.

Nevermind, during the day and standing not so close to him, you end up getting that look. Didn't expect such a dramatic change from day/night and being right up close to him and not. Thought something was maybe wrong with my settings.
