Att: Devs. Alpha Character not Synced to my Steam Account

I did not realize my Alpha character was still active because I only played maybe an hour of game time. I therefore chose to create a new account during the first-time launch. When I got to the character creation, my character name was taken - my old Alpha account.

Is it possible to still link my new Steam account to my old Alpha account, even though I chose to create a new account, not realizing my old Alpha was still active? I cancelled the character creation in hopes I can get my old character name back. I would even be OK with you deleting that old character. I just want to use the name now that I have purchased the game.

Please send me a private message so that I can prove my identity and ownership of both if needed.

If you send an email to support@projectgorgon.com with your alpha account info, we can decouple your Steam account from the new account you made, so you'll be prompted again to enter an alpha account name. Two caveats: it takes us a couple of days (on average -- lots of tickets right now), and the characters you've made on your new account will become inaccessible. We don't currently have a way to merge characters between accounts.

You need to contact them, they don't use the forum message system for support. The forum message system is more for players to contact each other.
