In my time playing gorgon I have seen many people suggest things that are not actually very good. I didn't see a thread on it so figured I'd start one, feel free to share your not good suggestions

I'll start
Playable crab race. Uses the tasty crab model poorly scaled up and you can use the knife combat skill as a crab.

Word of Power: Inner Beast
Applies random beast spech(eeee, naaa, moo's etc) to your chat for 10 minutes

Druids should have a tree form skill that can only be used in the Serbule inn.

Musicians should play out of time and off-key when drunk

All my character ever eats is fruit cocktail and jerky made from bug-meat... should have to poop like literally ALL of the time

We really need a way to craft multiple levels of toilet paper

I'll start
Playable crab race. You are the size of the tasty crabs on the beach and you can use the knife combat skill as a crab.

After hauling too much art out of goblin dungeon and having to walk sideways to bypass the speed debuff from being overburdened. I found myself wanting to play as a crab. You walk sideways and have to swivel your camera. Its not fun, but it gets in your brain and after a while you start to identify as crab people.

You know how when you get to soul mates the favor bar goes to 1/9996999?

Make it so when you fill it back up you marry the NPC. Occasionally you will go on dates, the NPC will occasionally follow you around and even leave the town to be with you(resulting in "wheres velkort???" in global)

- Ursula's health and damage now scale to your character's stats
- If your character is unhygienic they'll cough periodically, every time a character coughs there's a chance they'll spread a random ailment or curse to a nearby player
- In addition to being on a 1 hour timer, cows now also have a limited supply of milk: first come first serve
- Leaving items on the ground in town causes garbage piles to accumulate, cleaning them up gives Civic Pride xp
- NPCs now have a more realistic schedule and will sleep during the night, you can play music to wake them up and interact with them for a small favor loss
- When moving at faster than +10 sprint speed, your inventory now has a chance to randomly shuffle due to your bag bouncing around while moving at such high speeds
- Joeh had a really bad upset stomach from all that bacon and is now a vegetarian
- Added "Ranalon Culture Day", a monthly holiday during which all characters are Pro-Ranalon

As someone with a very low end rig currently: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Thank you, you have literally typed out the definition of hell for me.

I will add my own suggestion to the thread, that I have made numerous times (and I am deadly serious about it). You be the judge (it's pretty awful, I know):

Brainbug form. Don't care what the abilities are but would prefer if it was bizarre and somehow very strong. Brainbugs, everywhere.

Spider octowield: New spiders start out being able to use just a single combat skill. As they level up and become accustomed to coordinating their many legs, they unlock a new combat skill every 10 levels, culminating in being able to use 8 combat skills simultaneously at level 70. This will finally allow us to play as the bard / staff / archery / sword / knife / hammer / unarmed / spider we've always wanted to be!

I remember I used to have an idea for a word of power type skillset. I thought it'd be cool if there was a use for poetry that you pick up in dungeons, where you can find a verse of a poem; and by collecting every verse, you get an attack, along with buffs or debuffs. I just think that'd be cool. Like a poem about a family that dies in a fie, which causes rage, fire damage, and makes the enemy slow because of breathing smoke in. It'd be fun. Then the way to use the power would be by quoting the poem. So you can use just one verses effect, or every verse for all the effects as well as an extra power up. I'm not suggesting some O.P skill, but it'd be cool if you could get this skill if you're like really high level in calligraphy and have crafted a word of power (x) amount of times, then you can just search for the poems in dungeons through drops.

When I first started playing I recommended that players could deploy ladders to scale the Serbule west wall.

An Experimental Physics skill lineup with skills like some of the examples below. It would require a hand held miniaturized particle accelerator.

Quantum Punch - Call upon your mirrors in parallel universes to attack your target. Does a small amount of damage from several damage types (5 fire, 5 ice, 5 crushing, 5 nature etc..)

Gravitational Waves - AoE nothingness damage with a knock down effect.

Quantum entanglement - Piercing damage plus root.

Proton Beam - Piercing damage which irradiates your target causing fire damage over time.

you guys get the idea.

Skill Set: Copyright Infringement

Basic Attack
Extradimensional Weapon: Draw a weapon (or weapons) from your extradimensional pocket (main hand and off-hand weapon slots). Weapons include (but are not limited to): giant swords, katanas (up to six at once), dual guns (anything from revolvers to miniguns), and harisen.

Evil Eye: Look at your enemy with your cursed eye and inflict them with a random, powerful, unresistable status ailment that lasts until the target dies.

SS*: Power up into your ultimate (or is it?) battle form. Gain massive stat boosts across the board with no downsides and fully recover. Stat boosts increase as you get closer to death while this is active. Stacks with itself.

Energy Blast: Gather up the energy of your ki/soul/mana/aether/etc. into a powerful, undodgeable ranged attack that the enemy can only attempt to block by using one of their own attacks.

Tragic Backstory: Get the enemy to feel for you by telling them all about your entire, tragic life story that makes them question if they really want to fight you. Unbreakable mez and stat debuff.

Noble "Sacrifice": Give your life to save your friend(s), intercepting taking all damage from any attacks directed at your allies until you die. Auto-resurrect at full health with no penalties soon after.

Part my soul died writing. T_T I had to keep reminding myself that it was supposed to be a bad suggestion. XD

The Eye of Aggromobbo - a powerful amulet that gives all mobs in the current zone the ability to see the wearer through all walls and other obstacles and gives off a light that draws them toward the wearer while making them more aggressive.
