Gourmand Skill Leveling

Hi, in the effort to finish off my Gourmand skill, I am looking for the following foods (pasted below). If you have them or know where I can get them, I will pay 30k for each, or willing to negotiate (only iso 1 of each ofc). Many thanks!

Also, I realize the PG forums don't have a trading section, and I normally would just stick to in game for trading, but due to the rarity(or non-existence?) of the following items, a forum post seems appropriate.

I have to admit I had a good chuckle over your hopeful cheese work orders in-game. All of those varieties don't exist yet, even though they are on Braigon's training tab. The current max cap for cheesemaking doesn't allow you to learn them. As for the cake, I saw a slice for sale in vendor stalls for something like 1,000,000,000......

I have to admit I had a good chuckle over your hopeful cheese work orders in-game. All of those varieties don't exist yet, even though they are on Braigon's training tab. The cheeses on Braigon's training tab are Telema, Cambozola, Scamorza, Halloumi, Feta, Gouda and Stilton, none of which feature on my list above.

As for the cake, you also got the wrong cake. I'm not looking for celebratory cake, but welcome cake.

Daguin might have been mistaken about where to find the recipes, but he's right in that these cheeses aren't in game yet.

I'm pretty confident that I've consumed every available food item in game at this point. I'm still searching for the random quest foods I may have missed or special event foods that pre dated my start, but I've not come across any of those items you've listed yet. I suspect though that there are foods you are missing in game now beacuse I have a gourmand lvl of 61 and I don't think I've gotten that many +1's from eating high lvl cheese and great bacon. I'm happy to post a my list if it helps you on your gourmand quest.

Does Music or Dance Appreciation help with Gourmond skill?

Gourmand gets one bonus level from Fire Magic 43 (/wiki bonus levels). I don't believe Gourmand receives any bonuses from +crafting mods.

Thanks for posting that list! One more food you are missing is Jerky Lembas Brick, although that one is a very recent addition to the game.

I've just had the time to look through it and compare to mine. I can confirm what Niph and Tagamogi said that you are missing:

Gloucester Cheese
Lemon Shaved Ice
Maggoty Ham
Poached Egg
Jerky Lembas Brick (Durstin's quest line reward)

Conversely, you also have some that I don't:

Juicy Ham (Where is this from??)
Mint-Blueberry Candy (Probably missed this from last Halloween)
Rotten Meat (Alchemy recipe)
Strawberry Yogurt (From Melandria in GK, but I can't solo to her)

I think it's a reward from one of the Pennoc quests in Serbule.

Thanks Niph! That makes sense because I've never bothered to do any of his stuff, lol.

Following my post above, I've since attained Rotten Meat and Mint-Blueberry Candy. Still 59 Gourmand, 400-500 or so away from 60.

I think great bacon may be the key!

I'm not 100% sure but I want to say I have encountered the juicy ham in another location.

For some reason, I'm deeply convinced I have seen several juicy hams in Kur Tower in addition to the maggoty ones - I even remember a whole conversation with me turning down yet another dungeon ham spawn before realizing that I hadn't eaten it yet. However, that's been several months, so can anyone confirm this? Or do I have the ham type or dungeon wrong?

Ok, I checked with my friend and he thinks the juicy ham dropped


deep in the yeti caves. I'd go with his memory over mine, really. We definitely had multiple ground spawns; I want to say they were all on the second floor.

Thanks Tagamogi! I got all suited up and cheesed up to go farm in there for it. I found one as soon as a couple minutes in on the top floor! After all the buildup, my thirst for spelunking wasn't quite satiated so I went further. I ended up going down to the second floor and killing Bloodsoaker before suiciding out.

The only piece of juicy ham (or any type of ham for that matter) that I found was the one just a couple minutes in on the first floor (I took all lefts, if that helps anyone).

This is an old discussion but since I just found some juicy ham in an unexpected place, I wanted to update it:


I just got some juicy ham in Kur Tower, one of the shelf spawns. In the room next to Glajur, there were 3 maggoty hams and 1 item just called "ham" that became a juicy ham when I picked it up.
