20 min left before patch - tried to switch toons for Xmas tree's and can't log in!

I got the message for 20 minutes left before patch, so I tried to switch toons to get my last go at the Xmas tree's and it wouldn't let me log back in! :mad::mad::mad: 4 tree's down the drain! I am just venting sorry, but that is so annoying!

Maybe also warn us that we can't log back in or switch characters!
