Windows player.exe has stopped working error at every logout

Strange issue I am having. Every time I logout from PG I get this windowsplayer.exe has stopped working error and many times it freezes causing me to cntrl alt delete out of it. any1 else experiencing this? thanks

Seems to be a very common problem i also have it.
does it also crash when you just exit the game, for me it's just the logout button who does this.

yes both the logout and quit options cause my pc to get the error and sometimes freeze. how are others logging out of PG? or is this just an accepted consequence of enjoying this awesome game?

For me at least it works fine to logout or quit out. There is a section on game crashes in the Trouble Shooting (https://forum.projectgorgon.com/showthread.php?136-Project-Gorgon-Support-Troubleshooting-Read-First!) thread. If these crashes are resulting in a “output_log.txt” file, you should follow the thread and send it in as instructed.

according to srands comment it seems like the client crash is caused by this update and should be fixed in the next one.
